6-7 October 2016: Castello opens its workshop to the public

Carlo Scotti, an industrious tobacconist in the Canton of Ticino, in the early 1900s discovered and cultivated with dedication a great passion for tobacco and smoking tools. After making his small tobacconist famous, he decided to approach the world of pipes, fascinated by the elegance expressed by this object which, in addition to its class, offered the healthiest and most natural way to smoke.

Thus was born the Castello brand that Scotti, as a great esthete, made synonymous with quality, craftsmanship and experience gained over time, and whose products are currently coveted and exported to the world.

Today is his son-in-law Franco Coppo the ambassador of Pipa Castello, and invites you to explore and discover his shop, in Via Fossano 44 in Cantù (CO), Thursday 6 October from 10.00 to 18.00 and Friday 7 October from 10.00 to 13.00 inside the town’s Wood Festival.

The initiative represents an opportunity for a journey into the artisanal knowledge of the Castello pipe aimed at pipe lovers, young people who want to discover in the same place the pleasure of reflection and the liveliness of the craftsmanship, those fond of tradition and those who want to breathe the familiarity, simplicity and warmth that characterize Made in Italy.
